The food was tasty and international,
they even had Sushi.
 
We spent a very pleasant evening.
 
 
 
Saturday morning started with a
Berlin Sightseeing tour.
...of a different kind...
We got to see the Berlin underground.
 
 
 
First Stop was an old brewery cellar...
...which is used for parties and exhibitions.
Next Highlight: the "Clärchens Ballhaus".
 
 
 
Visitors go back in time when they
visit the Ballhaus.
 
 
 
 
 
Next stop...
...the old pneumatic dispatch system.
What is that? ;)
 
 
 
The pneumatic dispatch system is not in use
anymore, but was saved by some employees from
the garbage dump.
 
 
 
 
 
Last stop of our tour:
a real nuclear blast-proof bunker,
in the center of Berlin!
Build in the times of the Cold War...
...it is a museum now.
 
 
 
Uncomfortable beds...
...for 4.000 people...
...and without any privacy!
 
 
 
Back on the surface...
...we had lunch at the "Zollpackhof"....
...and afterwards Beachvolleyball! :)
 
 
 
At the Swatch Container we received a very
special treat: the Berlin Beachvolleyball Special,
limited to 30 pieces :)
 
 
 
 
 
Women's finals...
...was won by the American players.
